... On Coronavirus... Fear and Peace.
“I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world."” John 16:33(MSG)
It is an undeniable fact that the world is going through chaos right now... economies are dipping and people’s livelihoods are hanging by a thread, and fear seems to be king in a lot of lives right now.
BUT…
In the midst of these things... God keeps us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on him.
Don’t watch the wind... watch what God in Christ has said through his Love for you.
Listen to the news... the facts are important, but hold on to the truth you know.
Follow instructions... if you’re asked to stay indoors, then do it... knowing that as much as you do all you need to do to stay safe, Christ is your ultimate shield!
The Israelites were instructed to stay indoors on the night of the passover, now, if they didn’t follow the instruction, they’d have been victims of that plague… and staying indoors wasn’t the only key… many `Egyptians must have stayed indoors as well, but they were still affected.
What I’m trying to say is that as much as we stay safe, we must not forget the most important, the blood of Jesus, it was after they put the blood on the door post that they were truly shielded. Your trust should be in God, the blood that speaks better things for us.
Don’t let fear guide you... it’s not a reliable navigator. It’ll lead you to what you’re fearful of, and probably kill you.
Remember Christ has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind! (2 Timothy 1:7)
“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]”

God loves you! Let this knowledge bring peace to your heart, and let this peace propel you into health, safety, good success, strength, purpose and so much more.
God bless the doctors, scientists and health officials working tirelessly to save lives, world leaders to have to make hard decisions in the best interest of their citizens, and all those praying without ceasing for the world and this evil we face.
