Twelve Steps to 35...

I turn 35 in twelve days. 

I'm quite relieved, because for so long, I believed I was turning 36. Phew!!!! What’s the difference? It's just a one year difference, you would say, so why the relief? I'm not sure why, I really can't say, but 35 feels so significant, so major, that it’d have been sad to have missed out on it. 

I'm not one to countdown to birthdays, except I have a program planned, like hosting Incense, or something that interesting, but today, I counted and decided to do a countdown... using scriptures of peace... praying them, and declaring them over my life. These scriptures were gotten from the perfect peace prophecy from Manifold Grace Ministries that I have been declaring. 

God is indeed good to me. I see His love in the midst of all the craziness and I choose His peace always. See? Peace is a choice... and we labor to come into that rest of holding tightly to it, because we have known the love of God, and it's only natural that this should be our portion. 

"Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace (the peace of His kingdom) at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord [be] with you all." 2 Thessalonians 3:16(AMPC)

Let this be your story, let this be your song, as it is mine. The God of peace, my God has granted me His peace, at all times, and in all ways… under every and any circumstances and conditions. The Lord is with me. Amen.
