Let The Whispers Speak...

I went into my uncles’ room and asked him if it was ok for me to travel with him, he wasn’t hesitant to agree, there was no pause, there was no deliberation, I confirmed the date he was leaving and we were good to go.

A few days before we were to travel, I was having a conversation with his driver and I mentioned that I would be traveling with them and he went… “how will we all fit into the car? Its only one car we’re going back with, and the second driver and the steward are riding with us.’ I looked at him, like seriously? You expect me to doubt what your boss has said because of what you know, what has been the set arrangement? He’s the boss; he can change his mind, he can decide to take a second car. He can decide to have any other person drop off and use another means, he can decide anything, change the rules to accommodate me, unseat people to accommodate me, because he wants to, and because I’m his daughter (or niece in this case), the one he’s well pleased with, the one he loves. It’s not about the drivers’ opinion; he doesn’t need the drivers’ permission.

I was subtly pissed, raging mad behind the calm exterior and smile I had plastered on my face.

Well the day came and every other person was discarded for me. It was just my uncle, the driver and I on the trip; a car was hired to take the other two people ahead of us.

You see, you’re the child of God the King; you come out from the throne room after discussions with your Daddy. He tells you kingdom truths, secrets and promises that are out of this world, He gives you never been heard of ideas, and you come out confident until you mention it to someone who is his staff/child but with little or no access to Him like you or even with same access as you. (That’s why you have to be careful who you expose your dreams to, you never know who’s got the pin to deflate your high) Then they discourage you.

You’re not so silly to doubt the whispers of your Father in the face of the screams of His subjects, screams of Are you sure? Nothing like that’s been done before? In this place they don’t let young girls lead. It’s already too saturated in this place. Where would you get the money? There’s no money anywhere… and all sorts of lies they tell you. But you’ve got to come out from under their smallness of mind, they weren’t there when you went into the throne room, they didn’t hear what you discussed with Daddy. They don’t know the understanding you share with your Father, they don’t know just how loved you are by the King… There’s a lot of things people don’t know about God and the way He works, they hold on to the little they know, unwilling to think beyond the doctrines they have, that they are ready to shove down your throat all that is conventional to stop you from getting the unconventional results from the blessings of the Father. God gives us dreams, we speak the word and put a hedge in our hearts against the nay sayers. God always keeps His word, if only you choose to hold on to them.

What has God promised you? What has He whispered into your ears? What’s that seemingly impossible dream? If it’s an impossible dream, then it’s surely got to be God, do it! He’ll fund it, assist you, and make the way for you. You’ll never know if you don’t take that daring step of faith. Stop limiting your self. Stop letting peoples opinion of your Father affect your faith. Stop listening to every voice you hear. Let His whispers speak loudly in your action and your walk of faith.

Even if it takes forever, don’t relent in the truth and validity of that voice as though you just heard it a second ago.  Keep it evergreen before you, write it down if you must and as you step out even when oppositions come you’ll know you’re on the right path…

This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. Hababkuk 2:3
