...On Noisome Pestilence... Coronavirus!

I woke up some days ago and I could literally feel the fear in the air that morning; the broadcast messages and posts on social media... coronavirus in Nigeria!
I admit, with all the buzz that morning, which I paid rapt attention to, I felt a jolt of fear for a moment, then I came to myself.

Why should I fear? I mean I would take precautions, and continue to be hygienic and probably take it a notch higher, but ultimately psalms 91 is just one of my shields.

If we keep spreading fear, then that’s what people would buy. And when you own fear, your resistance is at its lowest.
We should know the facts of what’s on ground, but our stance about it shouldn’t be one of fear and hopelessness.

Like I said, Psalm 91 is one of my main precautions. I’ll draw out two verses from the chapter that applies here... (read the whole of it)

“Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilences.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

pes·ti·lence
a fatal epidemic disease, especially bubonic plague.

See?
He shall deliver YOU from the noisome pestilence... this disease truly has been noisome, too noisy, from country to country... casting gloom and fear, but the truth we should sell as what’s on ground is reported is that He delivers, from the noisome pestilence.

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Don’t be afraid of this pestilence or the destruction it’s caused.
God’s got you.
