Three Steps to 35...

It’s 3 days to 35.

Today, I’m just thankful for those praying for me… even when I have no idea they are. I have dodged one too many bullets not to be thankful for these people who have yielded, who have been willing and obedient to rise up and lift their voices up for me.

Peter was released from jail because the church prayed for him… James died. People prayed for Peter, no one is recorded to have prayed for James… He was left to chance. They probably hoped for his release. But prayer isn’t hope, we don’t hope for deliverance, we pray for deliverance. There’s a whole lot to be explained about this but I’ll leave it here. I’d be a beloved child of God dying in wrong situations if no one was praying for me, If people just hoped for the best for me… of course I pray for myself too. But I am thankful for those who prayed for me to be saved. Those who prayed for me to be all that God has called me to be. Those who pray for me still.

I was in a situation recently, and the response of “I’ve been praying for you” concerning that matter was such a pointer to God’s love for me. That He raised wonderful people to pray for me when I didn’t know I needed prayers… and only realized they were praying when they rejoiced that my eyes had opened and I was free.

It is a blessing for people to rise up and pray for you. I am a blessed woman. I told God how much I needed help today… and I’m thankful that even before I ask, He answers, He raises people to raise their voices to Him for me when I am silent.

I’ll be 35 is three days. I am expectant. I can’t wait for all God is set to do in and through me. To be a blessing to my generation, to keep going into all the world to declare the good news of Christ.

Todays scripture is

Trust in the Lord completely,
and do not rely on your own opinions.
With all your heart rely on him to guide you,
and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do,
and he will lead you wherever you go.”
 Proverbs 3:5-6(TPT)

I’m learning to trust God completely… to lean on Him… because sometimes, I don’t understand, but I know He knows best and if I rest in Him, I’ll see His perspective and the beauty in the path He is leading me through. He is indeed a good guide, a good friend, a good father… just perfect in all His ways.

Say this with me “I trust the Lord with all my heart. He is leading me in ordained paths of honor. Paths of peace. Paths of life. There are no deaths on my path when the Lord leads me. I trust the Lord and all is well with me. Amen”
