The Truth...

Let’s ask some questions... Is heaven real? What about hell?

What if heaven isn’t really real, and life ends as it ends? They ask. Well ... What keeps me serving and hopelessly devoted is beyond that. If In the end I ‘wasted my time’ I’d still be glad that I believed something in its totality. I lived a love story that even Hollywood and the best writers could not in all their brilliance create. I saw beauty in it, I embraced it and I had peace... I walked in the power it gave, I exercised authority over darkness, I conquered fear.

But what if there is a hell? And all those gruesome things we hear about it and read in the Bible about it is true? Would you rather? Eternity is a long long time to burn.

But this life... our salvation isn’t about the dread of hell and the fear of missing heaven. It’s beyond that. It’s embracing love and the sacrifice it offered for us and living to the fullest... basking in it like you’re on some beautiful island with a glass of happy juice beneath an umbrella of peace covering you as you stretch under the sun and watch the sea send waves upon waves that never seem to be able to sweep you away. It is power... authority! Grace! Strength! Wisdom! Love! Joy!

What’s the requirement for entering heaven?
Be good do good love good? But just how perfect can a human be?
What qualifies for hell? Lying, cheating, stealing? etc

No one can be that good for heaven. I have known good people and I have known bad people. Even I have classified myself as good sometimes when I’m not being ‘bad’ or moody or just not Interested In the human race

But that’s not a ticket to heaven. No one on earth can afford that ticket! Not even as a stowaway.

God knows.

So he did something to ‘epp’ our lives...
Jesus.

Now this wasn’t just a man.
He was God made flesh!... and this is when I’m glad I can finally use this slang “just burst my brain”. Because the thought of it truly does ‘burst my brain’ it is beyond comprehension.

His death paid the price of our bad: the past, present and future bad... and made us completely good even when we miss the mark. His burial and resurrection not only finished it, but it restored us to glory
So we can stand before the father naked and unashamed, come boldly to his throne to obtain mercy, and sit at his right hand as though we were Christ... because well we are in Christ.

He didn’t just pay the debt.... and let us be he is there helping us, always. #HolySpirit
It’s no child’s play.

Catholic, Protestant, Anglican... it’s beyond domination and religion.

The difference between heaven and hell for you is accepting Christ... accepting him is simple. Acknowledging him as your savior, acknowledging love and grace. Receiving the forgiveness of sin ....

They said Christianity isn’t the African culture... we were sold a way of life and we swallowed it. But look how our African culture is displayed by God. The sacrifice, the blood, the heavenly shrine... the high priest interceding for us. The incantations... The ritual of communion where we eat his flesh and drink his blood. I go around with a picture of blood in my heart. I am dipped in blood, I stand in blood. The blood sacrifice that was made for me and continuously speaks for me. I drink his blood daily and eat his flesh and become one with him. How foreign is this?
#vampirenot

I live a rich and satisfying life knowing he loves me at my worst as much as he loves me at my best.

The catholic creed is such a powerful declaration...

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. It’s so simple... :)

.... and that’s all folks!

Remember the gospel is too important to lock it up in the boundaries of dominations. It’s beyond that. It is the gospel and it is the power of God unto salvation.

Love you!
